The road to financial freedom is never easy but well worth it. I created a fiscal plan that would support my future and lead to other opportunities. As a young entrepreneur eager to succeed, I explored several avenues and invested time and money in different endeavors, of which some resulted in failure. However, I didn’t allow these roadblocks to keep me from pursuing my goals.
I remember about three months after purchasing my first home, a pipe burst on the second floor, causing a leak that ran through the first floor. In that moment, I felt defeated. A major repair such as that one was not in my budget, and I thought to myself, “Why did I buy this house? Was it even worth it? Where will I find the money to fix this?” However, I could not dwell on these thoughts for too long – I had to quickly create a plan that would ensure the return on my investment. Now, in hindsight, I can say it was one of the best investments I ever made. On my road to entrepreneurship, I’ve occasionally lost sight of objectives, I’ve doubted myself and I’ve lost friends and family. Still, the knowledge and confidence that I’ve gained are unsurpassed.
